The last month has given me a lot of insight; both good and challenging.

Loneliness

I have found that my time in the studio has a loneliness to it in the sense that the work is solitary where the rest of my life is not. Working alone for hours on end does get lonely; the aloneness is palpable. I find I am comfortable with it.

Jealousy

I find when I have to leave weaving to do other, but necessary and good things, I am jealous of my time. Frustrated that I am not at my loom. Wondering when I will get back.

Ideas

Ideas and designs have been coming in like a steady spring rain. I am thankful.
